Flexible Instruction Day (FID)/Virtual Google Day

School districts have the option to use a Flexible Instruction Day (FID) when it is necessary to close school. During these days, students will work from home on school assignments. An FID is different than a regular snow closure day when we do not expect students to complete work from home.

When we use a Flexible Instruction Day (FID), please follow the instructions below:

  • Students will have access to teachers from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. via email.
  • Kindergarten through second grade students will have packets to work from during the FID, and students must return all work to school to receive attendance and work credit for the day.
  • Students in third through sixth grades will access their work through Google Classroom, and students must complete the attendance form to receive attendance credit for the day.
  • Students in seventh through twelfth grades will access their work through Google Classroom, and students must complete the attendance form for each class period to receive attendance credit for the day.
