Thanksgiving Break

Thanksgiving break is on Thursday, November 28 through Monday, December 2. School resumes on Tuesday, December 3. Have a safe and enjoyable break!

Lake-Noxen Outdoor Recess and Inclement Weather

With the arrival of cold weather, we remind parents that unless outdoor temperatures fall below 20 degrees, all students participate in 30 minutes of outdoor recess. Please be sure your child comes to school ready for outdoor recess with a coat, hat, gloves, and boots. Remember to place students names in all belongings. It is also important to remember that physical education classes may take place outdoors as well.

Ross - PSSA Testing Dates

The 2019 PSSA dates are April 20 through May 8. The PA Department of Education requires the annual administration of English language arts, math, and science assessments in grades three through six. We kindly ask that you do not schedule any family vacations during this time. These assessments are very important in determining how well our students perform in relation to the core standards. Thank you in advance for your support!

Ross - School Spirit Store

With excitement, we announce our new school spirit store! On November 20 and 22 students will have the opportunity to shop by class. Prices of items are from $.50 to $5.00.

Lehman-Jackson 5th/6th Grade Dance

The annual 5th/6th grade dance, sponsored by our PTO, will take place on Friday, November 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. We remind students that they must follow the student dress code along with the electronic equipment policy. We also request that parents come into the school to pick up their child at the conclusion of the dance. We kindly ask that parents pick up their child promptly at 8:00 p.m.

Kindergarten Readiness Program

Lake-Lehman School District will be offering a kindergarten readiness program for the 2020–2021 school year. We will break this program into three segments throughout the year and will provide activities for both the child and parent to instill a sense of comfort and familiarity for their first elementary experience. The orientation provides information about bus safety, reading and math readiness, nutrition, and pre-registration in order to prepare you and your child for kindergarten. Please see our kindergarten readiness flyer for more information.
